I am a Mother of four amazing children Erriyell (Abdullah), Corey, Dontae and Kilynn. I am a god-mother to Candice,  Mimi to Carter and a fur-mommie to Sebastian. I am an active duty Senior Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy where I have been serving for 23 1/2 years. 

I was born and raised uptown in New Orleans, La and graduated from Alcee Fortier Senior High School c/o 98. I have traveled to over 19 different countries around the world and experienced more in my 42 years than the average person experiences in a lifetime.

Writing is both my passion and my purpose! I love to put my thoughts into the atmosphere. I realized a longgggg time ago that we truly overcome by what we think in our minds, believe in our hearts, speak from our lips, allow to manifest in our hearts and spirits as the truth. 

Encouraging others has been my medicine and mission....as I navigate my own pursuit of peace daily. I am grateful for any and everyone that reads my words and FEELS encouraged and empowered! I pray daily that my words will edify each and every life that they touch.
